If you had to teach about an hour long class, what would you talk about? What do you know about that no one else might know. Or alternately, what would you like to learn more about? List 5.

Maybe an hour long one on Tone Loc...

I don't think Tone Loc could fill an hour, then again, you could prove me wrong! But seriously.

So, how much would you charge for those bass lessons?

um, skreened, when are you giving a class. 'Cause I want to go to those. Well, at least two. :)

I could teach classes (to laypersons) on:
-various music-related topics (a few possibilities: Bob Dylan, first-wave NY punk, UK punk/post-punk/new wave/shoegaze, 90's US underground/indie-rock)
-crossword puzzle solving
-chess (for beginners)
-Super Mario Kart for N64
-certain aspects of linguistics and/or literary theory
-various literature-related topics, but preferably 20th Century American Literature (which I hope to go back to school to get a Phd in sometime within the next few years so that I can ACTUALLY be qualified to teach classes in this)

You can ACTUALLY teach right now.
Can I come to your Sweet Bobby D class? We need to compare notes per:
"Bob Dylan, first-wave NY punk, UK punk/post-punk/new wave/shoegaze, 90's US underground/indie-rock", 'cause those are my favorite musics.
Which is interesting because... my brain doesn't do chess or crossword puzzles. I don't even think I'm teachable.
Let's get it on with linguistics and lit theory.

Due to my long-time moniker as a "Fountain of Useless Knowledge", you don't even have to throw a quarter in, I could just about spin any topic into an hour long discussion
It's easier to list the topics I couldn't teach for an hour.
1. 80s pop culture. (I hate Trivial Pursuit games that have these questions, grrrr). I'm sorry, I was studying the properties of minerals, american/european/indian history, and how to recover buried/sunken treasure during those years. :D
2. Biology
3. Thermofliuds shivvver  I don't care how my brakes work, just that they work.
4. Nascar
and
5. Jai Alai

I lived down the street from one of these places for two decades and never figured out how the game works.

1. turntablism: how to scratch and beat juggle.
2. motorcycle touring: "pack light, pack right"
3. risk management for ama chartered race promoters/organizers, lol...this is a class i do teach, it's very boring.
4. off road riding skills and techniques: dual sport riding to enduro racing.
5. grill snacks 101: if you can kill it, you can grill it.

Math - ranging from Algebra to Calculus (I've been tutoring in all of these subjects for many years now)
East Asian Economics
Hip Hop 101 - Sugar Hill Gang to Present
Karate/ Jujitsu - though, I haven't practiced since I was 13 (when I got my black belt), so I might need a bit of a refresher

living carfree in columbus: easier than you think
domestic violence
and various music-related things, of course.

I would like a lesson on turntablism and how DJ's do their thing. I wish they offered a class like that at the Upper Arlington Lifelong Learning...I think it would be awesome. The DJ would tell you about it and let you dance a little then lecture some more. COOL CLASS.
Jai alai is sweet. They had a team in Tampa...
