Identifying a Columbus neighborhood

What is this part of town called between I-71 and Westerville Road to the west and east and weber to cooke on the north and south? What school district?

I had to take backroads from riverside hospital to Easton yesterday and ended up having to drive through this neighborhood which took me through small post-war houses and then when I got on westerville rd. there was a farm. I was very confused and had never seen this part of Columbus in the 4 1/2 years I've lived here (product of taking the highways, I suppose).
Anyway, I'd like to understand this area more. Any info?

Linden I think. it's not the best area, but you do hit nice pockets of housing. the housing along Cooke is nice, especially the closer you get to 71 coming from Westerville road.
the area you described might also be considered Northland, but where your pointer is on the map by the BBQ joint and Car repair places on Westerville road is linden.

Thanks! I'm so suprised by the diverse areas of Columbus. I wonder if people complained about the tract houses in linden/mifflinville being all the same back in the 1950's like we do about urban sprawl now. . .

Yes there is. Its a name that appears on some maps. Part of Mifflin TWP. It's probably left over form the old railroad days when places every so many miles along the tracks had a little depot and a water station for the locomotive. Like Hocking Junction over on E. 8th Ave or Munk's Corners and Pleasant Valley on the SE side.

that strip of sunbury road is fantastic for motorcycling. also, bridgeview golf course is a well kept secret. cheap, awesome 9 hole course.

That describes this area very well. lots of small homes and then a few small farms.

I asked a friend who grew up in Gahanna about this area. He said its called Mifflin. They go to Mifflin High School, which is a Columbus City School. I looked it up on Remax to see houses, and it looks like lots of dominion homes that are in foreclosure/couldn't sell.
