Just got this via e-mail and thought I'd distribute it:
4/14/2008 11:40 a.m. 37 W. Broad St. Suite 950 O - Possible Office Creeper
Black male, approx. 5'7", early 50's, 200-210 lbs., white shirt, black coat, black pants, black ball cap, carrying black notebook entered suite and said he was with the fire department to check their lights. Tenant asked for ID, intruder left to "get a pass". On-site security escorted out of the building. Security was able to locate the intruder quickly due to the quick thinking and phone call to management from the tenant.
I just spoke with CPD Officer Dave Magaw about an incident that took place at approximately 1:15 pm at the National City Bank building. The man was described as a male black, heavy set, having a receding hairline, mustache, wearing a blue waist length jacket with a white sweatshirt/sweater underneath it (hanging just below the jacket.) He stated he was with the Fire Department, was carrying a clipboard and stated he was there to inspect the exit signs. He is a reported office creeper and is likely the same man described below. Please alert your security staff. Anyone who sees this man should contact the Division of Police immediately. He is likely still in the downtown area.
