I have heard that it was for sale, and that there were people interested in it. I don't know if it has been sold.

i have a lot of memories at that bar. i have heard that it has not been getting the business that it use to get years ago. is that true?

It's not listed in the MLS, but there are a few businesses of note up for sale and several others have sold recently, like Zeta's & L'Antibes to name a few...

Wow. Shocking. I never thought that place would ever shut down.

they did have cute girls give me free packs of camels a couple times. I thought that was nice.

I hope this doesn't push more poeple to Zeno's. I wouldn't shed a tear if that place closed.

/agree Zenos always smells like piss. I hope something new goes in to the B-hamptons spot soon. That was my local watering hole :(

What really is the diffence between Zeno's and Hamptons??? They are essentially the same "style" bar. Hampton's cators (or catored) a bit more towards the student crowd and Zeno's seems to have more locals. Other than that.....

Zeno's has always struck me as a "neighborhood bar" where regulars go to get their drink on pretty much.

Zenos is more the NASCAR type of crowd. Lots of fights late at night.

After struggling to stay afloat for the last couple of years the owner of B. Hamptons announced that she will be closing the doors forever at 2:30am on Friday, October 12th. Thank you to all of our loyal customers for coming by and drinking with us over the years and thank you to all of the kick-ass staff members who hung in there through the good times and the bad. B. Hamptons Rest In Peace 1994 - 2007
^From there Myspace page.
Does this mean that they closed this morning at 2:30am??? Or are they open tonight?? 2:30am Friday, October 12th has technically passed.

well if you ever met the woman that quote is from, well... she's not the brightest bulb in the bunch. She also owns outlands.... well at least the old outlands, not sure about the new one.

Don't the Capauno's own B. Hampton's?

I won't miss it. I'd rather go to Zenos anyways, yeah they might have a NASCAR crowd, but B. Hamptons crowd is/was fucking tacky as fuck.

heading over there now if anyone is bored. Looks to be packed when I was coming home.

The answer to B Hampton's demise can be found on this forum.
I remember a post saying "without $1 beers, the place isn't worth going to" or somesuch.
When the only reason customers come to you is because they are "getting over", you're dead.
B Hamton's lived by the cheap beer and died because of the cheap beer.

Actually, it's the Capauno family (that includes multiple members) that owns Outland/B. Hampton's and in the past some other bars of little note. It's little wonder BH closed, and it won't be a surprise if Outland closes either, as anyone privy to the inner workings of that group of bar owners will confirm.
