Clearly they'll start drinking and shooting dope the day the casino opens. Casinos have that kind of power.

Probably has the same effect that every other establishment in the Arena District has. Even the movie theater serves alcohol...
Where can you NOT buy booze in the Arena District?

i suppose it depends on whether you stay sober by force of willpower or by actively fighting the existence of all things that provide temptation.

People who suffer from addiction need to avoid situations where they'll be tempted to relapse into their destructive behavior patterns. Obviously, gambling/alcohol/etc. addicts should stay away from the casinos. But if the presence of a casino is all it takes to make or break your sobriety, then you have a lot of work to do!
