Well done Walker. Good de-bunking! The mystery continues... I like the urban bowling alley idea.

I think the urban bowling alley idea is a good one too. I looked at doing this myself (here: View Larger Map) But after doing some research it's going to take someone with much deeper pockets than me. I'm not naive enough to think that it would be cheap but I was shocked to learn what each lane costs. We are talking ~$100k+ per lane. I hope someone does it. I'll be a customer.
Anyway, I'm anxious to see what does end up here.

I miss going to Yankee Trader during brewery down time. Especially this close to Halloween.

I imagine this location is being referred to within this story:
http://www.cleveland.com/dining/index.ssf/2012/01/blakes_seafood_restaurant_in_w.html
"The company is developing a new restaurant in downtown Columbus..."
So, not a Blake's Seafood, and not a Hyde Park. Sounds like it will either be a second Jekyll's Kitchen or something else entirely new....

Latest rumor was a burger place with a golf pro’s name on it. Any golf/burger fans heard any chatter?

Still nothing new with regard to the Yankee Trader building on High St. We are developing the upper two floors as residential units and the street level will be developed as retail , possibly restaurant space. We have not yet determined for certain if we will be leasing the space to another operator , or putting in our own restaurant . All options are on the table. We are strongly considering doing our own restaurant …but still undecided. Whatever goes in that spot will be high end., to be certain.
We will know more mid-summer on our plan for the 457 High St building.
Thank You for checking in.
