High school dances sucked. Come try again, the right way.... with friends. At a bar. Tree House's Homecoming... a new spin on an old party.
Party is this Saturday - Get all pimped out in whatever hilarious tux or awful "I like your sleeves... they're real big!" gown you got. Come disco style, cast of Virgin Suicides style, 80's metallic cumber-bun style, whatever! (If you want, even actually wear a nice tux and a nice gown - we DARE you to rent a limo!) Free admission for anyone who dresses the part, or you can just pay $5.
We'll have a "Battle of the Bands" high school style. Talented musicians from some of the city's best bands have agreed to put their name in the hat. Every hour we'll assemble a rag-tag band to try and cover old classics like "My Girl," "Summer of 69," "Take on Me" and other ridiculous old "reliably going to be played at this lame-o high school dance" tunes.
The rest of the time DJ Jazzy Joe (Peppercorn) will be dj-ing everything from hip hop and disco favorites to god awful dance music. Seriously. The early 90s stuff - you will know it. It will be hilarious. And despite your better judgement, you will dance.
We're even pickin' a King and Queen.
Bring a date, come stag, and tell all your friends. Bonus points if your mom drops you off in a minivan!
| The Tree House - 7pm - 2AM daily. As always, strictly 21+. |
