The Hilltop Story project started in 2009 and is a collaboration between the O.S.U. Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing (CSTW) director Dickie Selfe, Loring Resler, Aaron Knochel and Hilltop community centers such as the Hilltop Branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, the J. Ashburn Jr. Youth Center, and is supported by a grant from the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) program. The project aims to collect and archive digitized storytelling events of the local histories and vibrant stories of Hilltop residents and community workers.
The Hilltop Story project is ongoing in its efforts to collect stories about the Hilltop and capture the rich traditions and memories of a changing community in Columbus. If you would like to participate please contact hilltopstories@gmail.com
