I had some soup there the other day that was out of this world. Tomato beef, and they used pot roast for the beef...mmmmm. And their grilled cheese comes with pickles!!

Also forgot China Jade... it's yet another asian restaurant in yet another strip center (161 and Busch area). In spite of the name, the good stuff is the Vietnamese menu- bun cha, pho, and a heck of a good deal on duck (though you debone yourself).

OK... can anyone come up with anything OUTSIDE of restaurants though? Someplace to go after you've eaten?
I have to say... I've become more and more of a fan of the Wexner Center as time goes on. They really have great programming there. I saw "Famous Puppet Death Scenes" there last night done by the Old Trout Puppet Workshop, and it was one of the most interesting performances I've seen in recent memory. Funny, weird, touching, disturbing, I was pretty much fascinated.
I don't know if the Wex qualifies as "hidden" in Columbus, but I do think that it's one of the places that I would bring visitors when they come to Columbus.

OK then...
The Bruce Lee Martial Arts Museum
Seriously though, I'll tell you one that I hadn't gone to since I was a kid...until about 8 months ago...and it was REALLY cool.
The Ohio Historical Society.

Town Franklin in general; the Kelton House and gardens (part of the underground railroad), Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority headquarters (you can tour the histric home), Columbus Performing Arts Center (if you want to support teens in the arts), and there's a new art gallery on E Town before you cross into OTE (the Art Exchange further west closed before I got to see it). And then just east is the N Parsons strip with Black Creek, Carabar, Chop Chop Gallery and AWOL. While I may not bring visitors there, the main library is the best in the country. And how could I forget the Topiary Park?

Blacklick Woods Metro Park. Despite freeway sounds, feral cats, and proximity to the golf course, it's a great place to get close to nature and see a diverse selection of native Ohio flora and fauna. We're lucky in Columbus that we have a decent park system, and that admission is still free.

From the Dispatch...
Not in plain sight
Some businesses make the most of difficult locationsBy Jeffrey Sheban
Every city has its share of stores in offbeat places - some by choice, others by chance - defying the odds in sites better-suited to witness protection than to commerce.
In central Ohio, here are some of our favorites - largely out of sight but never completely out of mind.

Read moreVery cool article. I love that auto shop in GV! Nothing is better then an afternoon bike ride up and down those alleys, so much cool stuff you stumble upon like that.

Thurns! The place begs not to be noticed.

Darby Metro Park, specifically the secret path in the dog area that goes down to Darby Creek. Also Whittier Peninsula Audubon Park. And ok so maybe this is "hidden" out in the open but the Main Library. Anyone toss out Krema?
+1: Bangkok, Topiary Park, Thurns
