14th Annual Heritage Concert Series
This year’s Lineup Features Top Name Musical Artists,
Roy Ayers and Lonnie Liston Smith
Columbus, OH, June 13, 2012–Thursday, July 12th the King Arts Complex and Radio One will kick off the 14th Annual Heritage Concert Series presented by PNC Bank, with national recording artist and jazz vibraphonist, Roy Ayers. This free concert series will take place Thursdays in July and August from 6:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. at Mayme Moore Park. “This is one of the best summer events in Columbus, drawing many families and visitors to the heart of the city,” said Michael Gonsiorowski, regional president for PNC Bank in centralOhio, the presenting sponsor of the event. “At PNC, we recognize that the arts can bring a community to life and influence its economic development, which is why we strongly support creative programs and initiatives that make the arts more accessible.”
The Heritage Concert Series is the hottest summer concert series in town, featuring stellar entertainment with live performances by top national, regional and local artists. This year’s line up includes: Roy Ayers 7/12, The Special Band 7/19, Carpe Diem 7/26 Dean Simms 8/2, Liquid Crystal Band 8/9, Bobby Floyd 8/16, Jeanette Williams & Mary McClendon 8/23, and Brian Jackson, Mark Adams, & Lonnie Liston Smith 8/30
