Anyone else watching this?
Starting off kind of slow but I really dig it. I think between this and "Justified" the void that was left when "Deadwood" went off the air is finally getting filled.

yeah, but between walking dead, homeland, and dexter, it's coming in last for me. there's so much going on, and with all the commercial breaks, not much is happening. I know it's the set up, but it seems hard to accomplish that much with so little time, it seems like it is taking forever to tell the story. we'll see. when shameless and southland come back I probably won't miss Hell on wheels too much.
Digging it way more than Dexter or the Walking Dead right now (particularly after the whole Annie Oakley thing on WD last night).
I'm up in the air still. It's a far cry from the quality of Deadwood. The production is still really tight, but the dialogue seems weak. I do like the introduction of "The Swede", reminds me of Chigurh from No Country For Old Men.
I know this is really nit-picky but the characters in this show all have pristine teeth and it makes it hard for me to buy how hard their lives are when whenever they talk I see a mouth full of perfect white veneers
I've gotten pretty into this show, but I'm a huge Western fan to begin with, so that helps. Durant, The Swede, and Reverend Cole are all really interesting characters. Bohannan is channeling enough Clint Eastwood that I dig it.
I'm at least four episodes behind, worth it to catch up?
