The Pho place across Lane from Piada is priced nicely (6.25+) and you have options for most items, such as steamed or fried rice, steamed or fried tofu. You can tell them to go light on the sauce and/or rice if you're salt or carb concerned. The Pho itself is very good (but not as good as Lac Viet, which is similarly priced), so is the spicy beef soup, but the latter is too salty for me (gotta watch the BP).
There are a lot of good options at Kaya on Reed (Korean) and the Japanese Oriental Restaurant on High, but I would ask the help for pointers if not familiar with the cuisine. Haven't been in years and I am not sure if it is still around, but Anapurna in the NE plaza at 161 and Cleveland was a great vegetarian Indian restaurant - everything we had there was light (no heavy use of oil or ghee).
You may laugh at me for this, but the MCL (a.k.a. MediCare Lounge... I know, I know)in UA is reasonably priced, you see what you get, and many of the options are good. Not fancy or trendy in the slightest, unless your set was the 1940s, but good. Thought I would toss this one in for fun.
