Went through our archives at 10TV and put together some good HD footage of downtown in 1998.
I'm sure we have other stuff. It's just finding time to put it together. In the meantime, hope you enjoy this.

not even a single cell phone in sight...
I used COTA Link fairly regularly - it was handy! But I hated riding on that damn trolley bus...

+1
I wanted to skip school to ride t-- Oh wait, I was homeschooled, but even if I wasn't, I wanted to skip school to ride the COTA link.
The quality looks pretty damn good for 13 year-old footage. It looks like it was shot yesterday, except it's 13 years old. Hey, and no City Center in sight in this video, lol...
Funny to see the Bank One logo rather than Chase, the old COSI, Borden Sign and COTA Link. Otherwise, not too many shots of things that have majorly changed. ;)
Thanks for the video DubDave! Post more when you find it! ;)
DubDave, I'm such a big fan of all your work! Love this.
Cool stuff. Thanks for posting, Dave!
They're not HD, but if you like that video you'll love this gem I found on YouTube last year. Some guys cruising around High St. in 1988 recording the drive.

People used to wear suits and ties.....Interesting....
Thanks all! I'll keep looking for stuff. Don't hold me to it but I thought we shot "the cap" being built, Goodale Park, and some of the Short North. I'll keep looking for it.
