Didn't receive a form? Get one at the Whetstone Community Center in Clintonville or locate a local "Be Counted" Center.

yes. the last thing I want is to cost more taxpayer money just to send someone to my HOUSE just to get my data.
Well... ok... I admit in part I also just didn't like the idea of someone showing up at my house to bother me. I don't even like it when the meter readers show up.

heh. maybe that would help get people to mail 'em if they ran ads with huge scary looking people and that "concerned mom" voice from all the political scare commercials saying "DO YOU WANT THIS PERSON TO COME TO YOUR HOUSE? Won't somebody think of the CHILDREN?!"

We mailed ours in not long after getting it, but have ALREADY had someone stop by the house asking about it / if we'd returned it, etc.
It seems like they're spending a lot of money on making sure everyone remembers to actually fill one out - the commercials, the reminder mailings, personal visits, etc, etc.
There's got to be a better way to handle it. Maybe they could roll it into the tax documents every census year? Can't do your taxes without doing the census?

Not everyone has to fill out a tax return. If your income is below a certain point, you don't have to file.
