Which is why I prefer to tap with Amex - since the ExpressPay account numbers are supposed to be for contactless only. If a "swipe" transaction is attempted with a skimmed ExpressPay number it is supposed to be invalid.
Second I also carry my Passport card in my wallet in its mylar sleeve which blocks both that card and my other contact less cards in my pocket. The guy in San Francisco who drove around snooping for RFID cards showed that people kept their passport cards OUTSIDE of the provided protective sleeve.
