Yes!...but I'm not too thrilled that the entire HP franchise will be at its end.
there will be spin offs
and cross overs
After all, he is getting a little old to play a 17 year old
that last one is pretty dumb...

and my fav:
I found it interesting that the very first scene in that trailer has to be close or right at where they are going to split the book. IMO.
...vampires are in the same way twitter is in.

i like both twitter and vampires so our friendship probably needs to end.
the last book is two movies though right? so it won't be totally over. i hope these next two movies are better than the last one...totally didn't dig that one.

Vampires are in if you're a dense tween and enjoys awful writing. The Oatmeal (website currently down) offers a pretty comical about how Twilight works (take a shell of a person of which anyone can slip into, and give really intense detail of a "hyper-attractive" man/vampire in all his glorious chiseled muscle and you'll have a really lustful and shallow story)
I was a little let down with HP5 (film) until I watched it a few more times; I hope the same goes for HP6
Hey, I still miss Buffy. Of course, the vampires on Buffy and Angel were noticeably less brooding emo downers than the ones in pretty much every vampire show and movie since. Since then, only True Blood has managed to come up with some interesting vampire characters.

i'm more of true blood vampire fan not a "dense tween" thanks
I had no mention of True Blood, thanks. Alan Ball is fantastic and I've only heard positive things about the series. But, back to Harry Potter, I'm pretty excited, and its always interesting to see how the film series compares to the book series.
On the Harry Potter note. The 6th movie was my least favorite, and it was my favorite book. So, ya know... I hope they don't screw up the 7th as badly.
On the twilight note - http://www.chud.com/articles/articles/21684/1/THE-DEVIN039S-ADVOCATE-WHY-BREAKING-DAWN-MUST-BE-MADE-INTO-A-MOVIE/Page1.html
That is comic gold.
I just hate that they're splitting it into two parts. Bleh.

Wow, that is awesome. I realized they wouldn't want to make the movie because they wouldn't want to show the crazy sex, but I didn't even think about all that other stuff that happens.
