Columbus Gives Back is hosting a happy hour tomorrow (September 21) to benefit Good Neighbors Picnic.
Come out to the Short North MoJoe Lounge between 6-9 PM to learn more about how to get involved with Good Neighbors Picnic and/or Columbus Gives Back. We're collecting cold-weather items (e.g., blankets, toiletries) to help the homeless in our community prepare for winter. It will also be a fun, low-key way to learn about the team that puts on the picnic.
For more details and to RSVP, visit http://gnp092111.eventbrite.com/
Even if you can't come to the happy hour tomorrow, I'd encourage you to visit the Good Neighbors Picnic website and learn about this event. The team that puts this on is incredibly dedicated and is a testament to the ability of a small group of committed people to mobilize an entire community to help the homeless.
