I've heard of Cookie Cutters, but don't know much about them. Anybody been there? Any other places in town that do haircuts for babies/toddlers?

Thought about doing it myself, but then did the math and realized that the cost of a haircut would be significantly less than the likely cost of having to get my kid's ear sewn back on.

We just gave Desi his second haircut (he's 23 months now) and the first one was done around 17 months. We did both at home. Was a bit of a struggle both times, as he really hated it, but I don't think it would have been any different in a barber chair. Of course, all kids are different, so YMMV. ;)
If you are worried about the sharp scissors though, you can probably pick up a pair somewhere that have rounder ends made just for cutting little kid hair.

I have taken our 6 year old to cookie cutters since he was 10 months old--they do an okay job--I think the best part is that they keep the kids entertained while they are getting their haircut with special chairs, movies, games, toys, etc. and then finish it off with a sucker and a balloon. Get on their email list and you receive coupons from time to time.

But I'm pretty sure that if I were given a pair of scissors and a screaming baby, at the end of the day I'd just end up shopping for a lot hats!
Sounds like Cookie Cutters might be a pretty good option.
