Does anyone have any recommendations for a good hair colorist/stylists that can get someone in on short notice (like today or tommorow)?

Waldo's can normally get you in fast, and they're all talented.

Phia Salon allows you to book an appointment online, you can see if anything would fit your schedule.
I've been really happy with them so far.

Thanks, everyone, for your suggestions so far - just 1 quick question. For the Short North places, where do you park, since there's a 2 hour limit on parking at the meters?

I love Sandy at Michael Garcia's in Bexley, and it seems like if you can go during the day, it seems like she can usually get you in

Take your parking meter card or some quarters in your pocket and go outside in your foils. Works every time.

When I got my hair done in the sho no I used to just park on a sidestreet and walk over. No worrying about meters then.
What color are you getting???

I swear by Lucky 13 in Clintonville. They will be as conservative or wild as you need while covering all the gray (I have a full head of white hair under all this dye). Amanda and Jesee have both done great work creating different colors for me from scratch.

Hey I work at Mac & Company downtown on Gay st. It is meter parking however we pay our clients parking for them. Sometimes you have to park in a lot but if you can provide a receipt we take it off the price of your service. Give me a call 228-1164 Bobbi

Anyone out there who can recommend a stylist who's good with thick & curly hair? I just butchered mine and need damage control. Bargains are a plus!
Update: Preferably someone who doesn't care if I bring along my toddler.

Studio Posh is great-- very hip and affordable. Fun and friendly not pretentious. I am sure someone can get you in today; parking in the "olde north" isn't difficult at all.

Studio Posh's Grandview location (across from Grandview Library on 1st) has plenty of parking. Ask for Becky, she does a great job and very reasonable prices.

Natalie at Studio 33 downtown is awesome. The salon is at Broad and Grant, and has its own parking lot.

I tried several different places and my favorite it Atelier in Grandview. Cut is $35 and they're amazing. I recommend Melinda.

Does anyone have any recommendations in the $25-$30 range? I was going to someone I used to work with, but she's now $45, plus tip that takes it over $50, which is just too much for me. Then I started getting my hair cut at where my Mom goes in Akron, but I'm not going to be up there for a while and I need a hair cut bad. The place in Akron is actually a barber, but they also cut women's hair, and since it's not all frilly it keeps the cost way down. Anyone know of a hidden gem like that down here?
