I apologize in advance for the Seinfeld-esque nature of this conversation!
My husband and I got into a "discussion" about slippers. I got some new sock monkey slippers from Target, which I love, and they keep my feetsies warm since we have cold, hardwood floors.
His feet are always like popsicles, and he likes to stick them on me at various intervals to not only warm them up, but to torture me. Even when he wears socks, his feet still seem to get freezing.
I asked him why he didn't just buy some slippers, and he gave me a look of disgust! He said that slippers were for little girls and old men. I told him they didn't have to be pink & fuzzy or plaid... but he still refuses to even entertain the thought. He just said, "guys don't wear slippers."
So, is this some unspoken guy code that I don't know about? Do any of you guys wear slippers? If so, do you know where I could get some "hip" ones? If you don't wear them - why? To me, it's a matter of function over form.
