So I'm thinking about a "special" dinner and/or lunch...one where calories, fat and nutritional value take a back seat to hedonistic pleasure.
There are a few of the usual suspects: A Thurman Burger, Hoggy's chili-mac, Rusty Bucket coneys, etc....but I'm still uninspired. What are C-Bus's best guilty-pleasue food finds???

Most of the foods you describe bring pleasure for the context, the experience by itself and the fun of having them. For example, the Thurman Burger is really not that good, but going to Thurman's to have one and waddling away is an experience. I strongly suspect that 1+1+1+1 will be <<<< 4 with what you describe.

large order of fried mushrooms from DQ
Large PB shake from DQ
your choice of dessert from Coldstone Creamery
yeah, an all Avery Road-centric menu, over 3 days worth of calories.

HIGHLY recommend the Fried Bologna Sandwich at VC.
I have a friend who orders something new every time he goes, hasn't had a coney in at least a dozen visits, and he's still got about 1/4 of the menu to go. Nothing but praise so far for each new item, which includes just about every lunch time fave you can think of.

Warm Krispy Kreme donuts are probably my biggest guilty pleasure. There's a reason Krispy Kreme stores have a "hot light" to let you know when they're rolling off the line fresh -- their donuts are about 400% more delicious while they're still hot.

Uhh, YEAH. I washed down two hot out of the microwave, with a coors light pounder before going to bed last night.

NICE! My buddies and I used to go to the Henderson Road doughnut shop (can't remember name now) back when I hung at Coaches a lot. The little Middle Eastern guy who owned it knew us so well, at 3 in the morning he'd let us back in the kitchen to make our own doughnuts...my god fresh doughnuts are just amazing :)

They serve oatmeal creme pies (the little debbie kind) for dessert.
I've often thought this would be a great place to organize a massive internet meetup. Since the place only seats about 12, we could probably spread the word around town for everyone to go and take all of their friends to eat on a specific day and cause a huge random crowd to appear out of seemingly nowhere. Might be a bit stressful on the employees stuck working the shift, but I'm sure the giant influx of money would be worth it.
Sound like a good idea? I think we could probably get around 100 people to show up for dinner one night. It's not like you'd have to spend more than $5 there to get some dinner. ;)

it was just called donuts and coffee, now those middle eastern guys run the gyro shoppe just up the street a little.

For me it has to be the fried empanadas at El Arepazo, pint of Jenni's best and if you really just want to die of a heart attack today go to Danny's Deli and order a jaw-breaker. A Monte Cristo should be on the list, unfortunately, no one in Columbus makes them to their maximum artery clogging potential. I keep meaning to try the sweet corn cream brulee at Black Creek also.
