There's a local artist who has been leaving art pieces around abandoned buildings in our neighborhood. I definitely don't want to unmask him/her publicly, but my wife and I are big fans of the work, so if you know who it is, please PM me and let me know. The pieces are done on large sheets of particle board, and feature faces that are a little reminiscent of Sendak's "Wild Things." I've also seen what seems to be the same artist's work in public areas on Parsons and in the Short North.
I'm betting this person is either a part of the CU community or known to someone who posts on these boards.
