Ok,
Its been two years since I've been there, and I've been trying to remember/find the name of this place. Itsa smallish mom-pop place, been around for a loooong time. Dated Decor, but, for everyday italian, it was pretty decent.
Any ideas on the name of the place? I think I'd remember it if I heard it. The only thing I can remember is that it was on the North side of the road. (Main or Broad, I "think")

TAT is at the corner of Livingston and Main, been there forever.
Butch's was on Broad or Main in Whitehall, on the north side of the road, but they closed down a few years back.

I think this was it, the name sounds familiar as i remember it wasn't distinctly Italian - explains why I haven't been able to find it or remember the name :( - will have to try out a coupla other places mentioned. Thanks for the responses.

Butch's didn't close, they just moved. The family that owned and operated Butch's moved to Canal Winchester on Gender Road. They are on the same side as the Wal Mart. He sold the space in Whitehall to an employee who was allowed to keep the name for a year or so and then had to change it. Don't know if that is still around or not.
But Butch's still is if you are up for a small drive (15 minutes on a good day from Bexley).

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're talking about Butch's, which later was renamed Robin's with pretty much the same menu. I did a review of them here:

Unfortunately, they closed permanently around Thanksgiving of last year. I haven't been to Butch's in Canal Winchester, so I can't speak to the quality of the food compared to the old space on Main Street.
