Hi everyone. We will be hosting several graphic design classes for beginners at skreened early 2009.
We had one evening last year prompted by manatee and her 'If you could teach a class' thread.

i'm working on the curriculum now, but we'll probably do 4 weeks broken out to something like:
- layout and form / counterform
- typography and color
- concept and visual meaning
- current trends / tech questions / tools
hopefully each will incorporate a lot of exposure to exceptional design, lots of questions and maybe a bit of hands on.
There aren't really any promotional ulterior motives. It just the one thing that I feel comfortable teaching and we've got a decent space to do it.

I can definitely qualify to be a TA on part two of that lesson plan. My credentials were in full effect at the last Skreened party. :oops:
Anyway, your class sounds like fun…congrats for putting this together. I think the only way I can get in front of a bunch of people is with a combination of alcohol and a musical instrument to hide behind.
