I read today in the Dispatch that a new hot dog shop called Weenies will be opening in Columbus near the OSU campus. According to the article:
"Weenies, an independently owned gourmet hot dog shop, is slated to open in late February at 1644 N. High St. The shop, owned by Dan and Elizabeth Dahlen, will be serving Ohio-made hot dogs, brats and spicy sausages."
Has anyone heard about this? I do love hot dogs.

WEENIES...we look forward to serving you guys the best dogs anywhere... truly no other Weenies like these around. Not your typical/standard hot dog...blah-blah-blah.
You'll have a choice of 25+ fresh toppings on an all BEEF "OH-IO" Weenie.
OH!!! WEENIES will have late hours Fri-Sat open till 3am! YEAH!!
We would like to hear from you. Any ideas, questions or suggestions...we are all ears. We want to be your favorite place to hang and eat.

As you may have noticed Weenies did not renew our lease. We are looking at a variety of options for Weenies including possibly going 'mobile'. But in the meantime we wanted to thank all of your for your business. Your business, enthusiasm, encouragement and late night visits were greatly appreciated. We enjoyed serving you very much and we feel like you are part of our family. So in the meantime, have a great winter, stay warm and safe and we will keep you posted on Weenies next steps. Again thanks so much for your business and friendship. We miss you already...Elizabeth and TEAM WEENIES.
