A coworker and I are in the process of redecorating a large space that our program uses for teens to hang out in after school. The space is currently grey upon gross and furnished with twenty- and thirty-year-old furniture pieces that are outdated, ugly, and in rough shape (tears and stains). Our program works to help teens 14-18 from around Columbus have a cool space to hang out in after school. They also receive an adult mentor for the year, academic help, career skills enrichment courses and the like.
I know a lot of us have things around (oh, like those funky orange throw pillows or that Ikea Lack end table) that we mean to get rid of at some point when it's convenient. We do provide receipts & your donations will be tax deductible. Anyhow, if you want more info, please see our Craislist ad:
