I know Walker posted this in the news area, but (sorry Walker)I know not everyone really pays attention to the news area allll the time, so I wanted to give this great series a plug over here on the message board. Alex Kelley has done an amazing job bringing this series back to life, and she's lined up FANTASTIC musicians to bring great music this summer.
Come check it out Sunday.
I'll see ya there!
Here's a link to Walker's fantastic interview which also has links to the Facebook group to keep you up to date on the series.

This is great. I love being able to sit in the park and secretly sip adult beverages while hearing good music.

Bring a comfy blankie and some coffee (maybe make it Irish...huh? huh? yeah) and lounge out with some tunes. Would be the perfect lead in to an afternoon nap! :)Posted 2 years ago # -

Starts in 2 hours! Even if you can't make it to this one, just keep it in mind for your future Sunday post-brunch activities. I always had a great time at this event in the past & I'm stoked to be part of its comeback. Between this & yesterday's Parking Lot Blowout, it warms the cockles of my heart to know people are so stoked about local music in this town.
HOT COCKLES!

HOT COCKLES!
Hot Cockles:
An extremely popular game at Victorian Christmas parties. One player sits down, another player is blindfolded, kneels, and places his/her head in the sitter's lap. The kneeler places an open hand on his/her back, with palm uppermost, which other players take it in turns to strike, and the kneeler must guess who has struck the blow. There's your trivia for the day kiddos! Now you know.

Thanks to everyone who made it out today, a and special thanks goes to Alex Kelley who made this whole thing come together. She just decided one day that there should be music in Goodale Park again every Sunday, and instead of just complaining about it, or waiting for someone else to do something…by god, she went and made it happen.
