The Goodale Park Art FestivalsiteShort North, Columbus - September 22 & 23, 2007
The Goodale Park Art Festival is a fresh face among Columbus art shows, but has shown incredible growth. It was welcomed with open arms in its debut last year by both the Short North, and Columbus at large. This year with it is more than 70% larger than it debuted last year! The Goodale Park Art Festival is a truly art driven event, and nestled in the heart of the Short North Arts District, it has immediately become an important part of the Columbus art scene. In increasingly corporately dominated times, this is a great opportunity to buy truly one-of-a-kind paintings, sculpture, wearable art, jewelry and more – directly from the artist who made it!
The festival hours are Saturday 11a-7:30p and Sunday 11a-5p.
Saw a commercial for this while watching the news this morning, but otherwise hadn't heard anything about it... it looks the artists will be a lot of the usual traveling folk who do the Columbus Arts Festival and Winterfair.
Did anyone go to this last year? How was it? Planning on going again?
