Run Lola Run soundtrack. I used to run, but now stick to elliptical trainers or swimming at 530 in the morning.
I guarantee it will jolt your energy level.
I agree, it's pretty dangerous. I used to run with my dog listening to my headphone in a low volume, although I ran inside a university campus and with a buddy that has sharp ears, it still used to creep me out when some random person/car came in front of me from nowhere. I have stopped doing that.
