La Plaza Tapatia
In the westgate shopping center.
It's real Mexican!
Found it while looking for the entrance to Sears to buy some more jeans.
The Ceviche is great.
Food so fresh you can see them cutting up the vegetables.
Authentic Mexican food.
I knew I was in for a treat when I started with a coke and was served Mexican coke and chips and salsa. There were a lot of tables taking advantage of the 'bucket-o-beer' and singing along with the Mariachi band.
Don't expect anything fancy. Linoleum tables, kids running around and people in T-Shirts. Just expect real Mexican.
The server (Bertha Garcia) was very friendly and hot. They put me at one of her table because she has good English. So, don't expect to hear anything but Spanish.
