Okay, so I just paid $73 for drycleaning 6 shirts, 1 sleeveless sweater, 1 jacket, and 1 dress and am feeling a little salty about it. Does anyone know of a good affordable drycleaner? I have a ton of winter sweaters and lined dress pants that need to go to the cleaners to be put away for the spring and summer and don't want to pay $6-7 per sweater or pair of pants.

Gallos downtown on Spring Street near Fifth on the south side of the street. They also do tux rentals, but they've been my drycleaners for many years and I just love them. I am sorry to say that Caskey did me wrong one too many times. Lapels are not to be ironed flat with a crease, and they don't get that.

I love Spring Cleaners at 1st Ave & 4th St. It's pretty cheap and their turn around time is really fast.

I need a place that will repair a hole in sweaters or do I have to trash it? I went to the cleaners and they do not offer yarn services.

spring cleaners is great.
enzo, you need a tailor, not a dry cleaner.

The thread title asked for good dry cleaner, then the thread body asks for affordable dry cleaner. :?
I understand Columbus Lace to be the best dry cleaner in town, dunno if it's cheap though.

There is always $1.99 cleaners at Eastland infront of Macy's. Guess how much it costs. I go to the place off of Greenlawn, forget what it is called, but it is reasonable.

My buddy that lives in Grandview takes all his suits to that $1.99 place and says they do a great job.

Is there a drycleaner near 5th and High?

Casky's is a good bet. Though why they take a week to launder a shirt when they have the equipment on site is silly.

Near 5th and High there's Suds n' Java (never used their drycleaning service, and their website refers to it as "Cry Cleaning" -- hopefully that's a typo) and Spring Cleaners is on 4th and 1st.

I'm crying over the Cry Cleaning right now. Wow.

Anyone know of any dry cleaners anywhere around here that use the liquid CO2 process instead of TCE/PERC, or c-5 "silicon"?
I have found none, but I figured maybe you guys may have heard of one.
