I'm looking for a good dermatologist with maybe excellent cosmetic surgery skills, too (or maybe these would be 2 separate doctors). Prefer in Victorian Village, but really, I'll drive out to get to a good one. I have a history of skin cancer at an early age (not the bad kind, but was 34 when I had it). I'm supposed to get annual skin exams, and have been lax in getting a dermatologist in Columbus. I wouldn't mind someone who could give me advice about fixing some of the scarring that resulted from my previous skin cancer surgery (messed up my nose) -- not to mention addressing the other sun related skin damage. No - I wasn't a sun worshipper, but I have green eyes and freckles, and spent my childhood summers in or on the water...'nuf said. Is there anyone highly recommended in Columbus?

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Hicks-Graham at Downtown Dermatology. http://columbusdowntownderm.com/ My appointments always started on time, and everyone was extremely helpful and nice. Plus, it's right next to the Main Library Downtown, so bonus! Not sure about surgical aspects, but the quality of care is excellent.

My dermatologist is Shari Hicks-Graham, at Downtown Dermatologists. They just moved their offices to a suite on Main Street (the building where the City Pharmacy is located) There is free parking in a lot behind the building, so it is really pretty convenient. I really like her a lot.

Ooo, I'm so glad this was posted! My rosacea is flaring up and I'm almost out of medication. Thanks!

^^ HeySquare is right - the office just moved. But it's still not far from the Library!

Thanks! And, she participates in my health plan. I'll give her office a call today. Thanks for the advice :)

Cool. I have an appointment with her in November. I feel so comfortable with this choice, given all these recommendations. Thanks, everyone, for taking the time to let me know about her :)

Do you want me to see if I can get you in earlier?
I know the folks there fairly well as I did some work on the new office.

Oh, thanks Ken, that's very sweet, but no. I'd feel weird. I'm happy to wait my turn :) Heck, I've been waiting this long to get an appointment in the first place, and it's not like anything is going to change much with a few days difference.
Kind of you to offer, though.
