There is a house in our neighborhood that has been torched twice by arsonist(s). The fire dept secured it after the last fire, however now all of the doors are kicked in and little kids play in there. It has been open for several months and I can't believe the cops don't take notice of it. The last fire almost took the neighbor's house down too, destroyed their siding, roof, and blew all of their windows out on that side. The roof is caving in, as is some of the 2nd floor into the 1st (yes I peeked inside too). I assumed after the last fire the city would have condemned it by emergency order. Wrong.
Has anyone else dealt with this? How bad does it have to get before it gets condemned? I know most of us are urban warriors here, and some of us are pioneers on our streets.
