Anyone been to the german village farmers market at 551 S. Fifth St.?Yes, great jam, pies, and produce. Heron Creek Farm pies, you can call and order them to be picked up at the market.
While on the topic, are there other places you can preplace produce orders and then pick them up? Like farmer's who set up at farmer's markets that will allow you to do that?

When and what time is the market? Is Heron Creek Farm the only one there?
YUM, pies! What kind of pies? How do you contact them for pies?Posted 2 years ago # -
Saw this in the German Village newsletter, but I don't know what phone number they are referencing:
Beans, Potatoes, Squash, Jams, Pies, Flowers, Berries and soon, Tomatoes! It can all be yours at Kight Studio 551 Saturday mornings from 9:00A-12:00N. But don't think that the pies will still be around at 10:00A. They sell out quickly so consider calling ahead and preordering. Sandy Kight is again hosting Heron Creek Farm in her studio lot at South Fifth and Jackson weekly throughout the summer. Stop by to see what each weekly harvest yields. You can grab a tasty coffee from Yosick's to enjoy while you shop from the farm market. Bring your own canvas bag!
probably can call gvs for the phone number. 221.8888
