In the downtown/German Village/Grandview/Short North/Clintonville - central city - bikeable from So Hud - area?
I'm racking my brains, but since Pesto closed, I can't think of anywhere.

Jeni's has Dark Cocoa Gelato. Maybe some others that are seasonal.
Otherwise, I can't think of a good place since Pesto closed.
Yeah, I know about Jeni's. I'm more a fan of fruit flavored/seasonal gelatos :( I'll check out the North Market today.

The only thing I can think of is Whole Foods. Not so bikeable, but not impossible? I don't know - I don't have a bike.
You should get one.
I don't mind the ride to Whole Foods, but I wasn't really looking for mass-produced, as I can get that at Giant Eagle.
I've never gotten the whole gelato craze. Then again, I've never understood $5 coffee, either, and it seems to be much the same crowd.
Denise's Ice Cream had Gelato when we lived in Clintonville a few years ago. I'm not sure if it was/ is any good or even if they still serve it.

I was there a few weeks ago (I think it's called Cafe Napolitana), just for that reason, and they didn't have it. I would be much poorer and fatter if they did.
duh, one of my best friends works at denise's... i'll ask him.
It might be a bit out of the way, but Sparano's at Trabue and Hague has gelato. It's not made there, it's Palazzolo's Gelato (http://www.4gelato.com/index.html). Still, it's pretty good.

REALLY out of the way, unfortunately - I don't have easy access to a car, but if I'm ever over there I'll check it out - sounds good.
