Tressel and Gee can't vote on the tax measure next Tuesday: The coach lives in Upper Arlington and the president lives in Bexley.
Like other suburban residents who work in Columbus, Tressel and Gee would see higher tax bills if Issue 1 passes. Their combined city tax bill of up to $110,000 a year (based on their highest potential earnings under current salaries) would increase by $27,500.
