Supposedly the Insane Clown Posse’s Gathering of the Juggalos festival is headed our way, moving to Legend Valley near Buckeye Lake:

New Gathering of the Juggalos location LOCKED IN AND CONFIRMED! TICKETS Will GO ON SALE THIS MONDAY, MARCH 3rd!

They tried to shut us down. They tried to oppress us, censor us and cast us out. They did everything in their power to disrupt a yearly tradition that has become a pilgrimage for thousands of people all over the world. But they FAILED! Because we NOW HAVE A NEW LOCATION 100% LOCKED IN.

The NEW and IMPROVED home of the Gathering of the Juggalos:

The 15th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos
    July 23rd to July 26th 2014

    Legend Valley Concert Venue
    7585 Kindle Road
    Thornville, Ohio 43076

This is absolutely hilarious. I hope that 614, CU and whoever documents this well.

Nothing’s more polarizing than a clown. Extreme joy or sheer terror for every child in the room. Happy memories of your first time under the Big Top or nightmares about a birthday party gone wrong. Ecstatic Juggalos or an infuriated rest of the town.

I had to explain what ICP is to my buddy’s girlfriend who is from San Diego. I told her people in the Inland Empire know who they are.

Juggalos attempt to rebound from a rocky year with their annual Gathering
    By Andy Downing
From the July 17, 2014 edition

It’s been a miserable year for the Insane Clown Posse’s paint-smeared fan base, commonly referred to as the Juggalos. Early in 2014 the Gathering of the Juggalos, an annual music festival/Faygo-coated free-for-all helmed by the clownish crew, was barred from setting up shop at Crybaby Campground in Kaiser, Missouri, with owners citing the backlash from local residents. Then earlier this month a District Court dismissed a lawsuit by the rap duo and its fans brought on by a 2011 FBI report that characterized Juggalos as a gang.
