Thanks for all the responses so far, guys!
gsmittynd wrote I hear Eagle's pizza out in New Albany is a pretty solid option if you just want to hang out and talk and have some decent pizza.
Smit, you have just hit on one of my favorite pizza places! That was our standard hang out in high school and I still enjoy going back there when I'm out on that side of town.
Might not be worth driving all the way out there on a Friday unless we're going to hit up something on that side of town, like Easton, which I don't think is in the works. But still a great suggestion. :D
Schoolboy wrote my picksgo to rossi's in the short north, get their pizza. 1 word. chronic!
then head north to the high five @ 9 for free PBR and me spinning late 90's early 00's hip hop. after you have had your fill of that, walk 1 block south to skully's to bang. if it's before midnight, then hit a place like carabar which is also close by... then go to skully's... and stay there... because i doubt you will find anything funner to do.
can't go wrong with that plan.
best pizza in town, cool little resteraunt.
free beer to get a nice buzz going early even if you don't have much cash.
then hit a unique bar, or just go straight to bang... which is going to be 10 times more dance fun than any club.
or... just hit the area around the north market, walk from club to club. it's not very original, you'll most likely pay for parking, have to stand in line, and to me a club is a club... but ya know. it's just another option to throw out there.
hmmm... My concern is that one of the girls coming to visit is not 21. I don't know how many of those places are 18+ or do not card at the door. I've never had a problem at Rossi, but the other places I either haven't been, or have not been in a long time. I know High Five used to be 18+. If they are all 18+ that is a pretty solid plan.
I like the food at Rossi, but I have yet to try the pizza. I'm not sure what chronic means when referring to pizza, though?
Area down by North Market (Arena District/Short North) all those places are 21+ except for the restaurant/bar places like Gordon Biersch and O'Shags. Would be a good option if everyone was overage, though. And I wouldn't have to worry about parking since I live down there! :D
Thanks for the input. Any other ideas are still welcome.
