My husband's birthday is next month and I'm looking for some fun Halloween themed thing to do with a few friends in Columbus. Any ideas?

both friday and saturday are the annual Treehouse (887 chambers in grandview, http://www.treehousecolumbus.com) Halloween bash. There is (i believe!) an $8 cover, all of which goes to the CD101 Andyman-a-Thon charities (which helps local children throughout the year).
It's a legendary costume party with anywhere from 8-10 local bands a night (well worth the cover)- all of which dress up as legendary bands or themes (last year someone dressed as characters from the big lebowski and played the soundtrack) and play a short set of covers. It's an awesome time.

October 31, 10 pm - 2 am at Junctionview Studios.This is a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) event rather than just a Halloween costume party, and it should be a great time! Art, food, music...and don't forget your traditional Mexican Dia de los Muertos costumes!!

Friday 10/30 at 11:00pm Studio 35 (Indianola Ave) is playing Ghostbusters on the big screen.
Admission is $5... All donations and raffle sales will be given to Bark Ark Bully Rescue http://www.barkark.org
Raffle tickests at $5 or 6 for $20. If you bring in 2 cans or a small bag of dog food you'll get a raffle ticket. Prizes will be given out for the raffle.

Thanks for posting this topic. We are going to be out of town on Sat(Oct 31) and looking something we can go to on Friday night. It's so cool that some have two nights of Halloween the 30th and 31st!!! =^_^=
