Why aren't there any frozen yogurt places in Columbus? (excluding TCBY) Did they go out of business, or were there never any to begin with?

I may be mistaken, but I think a lot of places have frozen yogurt, but aren't exclusively frozen yogurt shops.

I'm pretty sure you can get frozen yogurt at just about any ice cream shop in Columbus.
Try Handel's.

I thought Frogurt was a fad that died out in the early 90s.

If you're excluding TCBY, I don't know that there ever WERE exclusive frozen yogurt places in town... and I don't even know of any TCBYs that are still open.

i mean the fat-free kinds with tons of flavors and tons of toppings. They have them all over Los Angeles.

Last time I indulged in those kind of shenanigans was the CCAD cafeteria... but that was Soylent Yogurt.

Try Jeni's Ice Creams in the North Market or on High Street or... what's the other location? Worthington?
Anyway, they have AMAZING sorbets, not wussy ones, but good ones with booze like cucumber-vodka-granita. Top that, TCBY!
You know, a Wendy's Frosty is pretty darn close. You're not really getting the health benefits of yogurt when it's that sweetened, anyway. But a Frosty is low-fat, cool, and milkesque. BYOToppings in your glovebox... it's what gloveboxes should be full of anyway, right? :P
Or, to be really healthy, just buy real yogurt popsicles. They're freakin' delicious and will make you look more LA tastic than a big sugary wad.

Grandview, on the main drag not far from Staufs.

They also don't have winter there where these shops would shut down 5 months a year.
EDIT: P.S. I bet we make up for what we lack in frozen yogurt shops on every corner with people who knock on you door and offer to shovel your snow...how many of those does L.A. have???...HUH??? ;)

Stop in and try Jeni's! We make a variety of ice creams that include whole milk Yogurt. Flavors include Lime Cardamom, Lemon w/ Blueberries, Mango, and Passionfruit, and others as appropriate to the season. It is low in fat - like gelato - but we tend to tout the flavor rather than health benefits.
We've never made 'frozen yogurt' as such - in fact we're not sure what frozen yogurt is. I know Pinkberry has a loyal following and I'm very anxious to try it, they've stopped using the word Yogurt in their product descriptions.
Best!

We need one of these! I went to the one in NYC (where they do have winter) and it was awesome!

though its hard for me to enter jeni's and not have salty caramel, i recently opted for the strawberry sorbet and it is magically delicious! not a froyo, true. but froyo never tastes good anyway.
