I have no idea what kind of campaign he would make if he got the nomination. I have a very good idea what kind of campaign some people will make against him.
It's safe to assume that drawing attention to his immature and vile attacks on gay people will play a prominent role.
Also, I'd like to thank Channel 4 for the "Santorum Surprise" headline this morning. It's still funny.
If he is the nominee I do hope that the Dems will have the guts to point out that he and his wife had an abortion by inducing labor in a preterm pregnancy which ended in the death of the fetus. That's an abortion in my book. A late term abortion. Not that I blame them especially as that it was medically needed to save Mrs. Santorum's life but ol' Frothy wants to make that illegal for the rest of us. Imagine that. What a piece of santorum he is.
Dems would be breaking open the champagne if ol' Frothy knocks out Mittens.
It's hard to imagine a fantasy electoral scenario that would allow Santorum to win. Remember, we're talking about someone who was absolutely clobbered in '06 in his home state.

Santorum believes there is a gay jihadist lurking under your bed.
Wow, examining your religious belief critically and making your own informed decision is a bad result of receiving an education.

Rick Santorum questions Obama's Christian values
Feb. 18, 2012, 3:57 p.m. EST
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Lashing out on two fronts, Rick Santorum on Saturday questioned President Barack Obama's Christian values and attacked GOP rival Mitt Romney's Olympics leadership as he courted tea party activists and evangelical voters in Ohio, "ground zero" in the 2012 nomination fight.
