Fans of the heyday of late-night television, look no further! 5-time Emmy Award winner, Fritz The Nite Owl returns to host this reboot of his show, Nite Owl Theatre, which ran nightly on WBNS 10tv in Columbus, OH from 1974-1991. Fritz presents the films in their pure form, checking in with you every 15 minutes or so, taking you to classic commercial breaks from the 70's and 80's making for a total retro late-night experience. So grab your popcorn and dim the lights!
Created by Fritz Peerenboom and filmmaker Mike McGraner, this new series features brand new Fritz bumpers, classic commercial breaks and a Star Spangled sign-off.
Year #2 starts at our new home, Studio 35 (3055 Indianola Avenue) on Friday, January 27th at 11:30pm with Episode 1: Spider Baby
The show continues the next night on Saturday, January 28th at 11:30pm with Episode 2: Hercules
Both episodes are brand new and have never been seen before. Fritz will also be in attendance and the nights begin with a special pre-show featuring shorts and other goodies leading up to the premiere of Nite Owl Theatre: Season 2.
