It's that time again!
Please join us Saturday, March 12th, 9am-12pm, for the first volunteer work day of 2011. This will be a general cleanup throughout the park, to get ready for upcoming events like Earth Day in April and Planting Day in May. All ages are welcome to participate in the cleanup. Volunteers are asked to register at the caretaker's residence in the center of the park.
As always, please wear weather-appropriate clothing. Garden gloves will be provided for use during the event. If you have extra rakes and brooms that you can loan to the park just for the day, please mark them with your name (masking/duct tape work well), and bring them with you - we're always in need of extra tools. Weather information for the event will be posted Saturday morning at http://www.facebook.com/friendsofgoodalepark.
After the event, we'll walk to North Market and grab some lunch. :)
Questions? Need additional information? Please contact Julie Hallan, Volunteer Coordinator, at juliehallan@friendsofgoodalepark.org.
Hope to see you there!
