The Friends of Goodale Park invite you to the annual Holiday Gala
Wednesday, December 1, from 6 - 9 pm.

Come help us celebrate this year's accomplishments, and support future projects. We accomplished a lot this year, and we couldn't do it without your support. This year's complete annual report will be available in printed form for you to take with you as you leave the party. This event is always a great time, including a silent art auction, and a fantastic spread of food and beverages from local restaurants. All this, in one of the finer homes surrounding the park.

This year's event will be hosted at the home of Herb Asher, 34 W Poplar Avenue, #501. 100% of your $40 donation at the door goes toward improvements in the park. This is also a great opportunity to meet FGP Trustees and ask us questions or let us know what you think. More details on food and art donors coming soon.

By the way, the new fountain construction is FULLY FUNDED! Thanks to everyone who donated to help make this happen. We're so encouraged, even exhilarated, by the support given, that we've decided to go one step further. Don't you think it would look great lit up at night? We do. So, we're beginning a drive to raise the additional $20,000 needed to provide lighting.

At the gala, we'll be holding a raffle to be the first person to turn the lights on. We're calling it "Flip the Switch". Tickets are only available during the gala, and will be sold for $5 each, or 5 for $20. A drawing will be held at the end of the gala to determine the single winner who gets this honor. You need not be present to win, but you'll need to attend the gala to get a ticket :)
