I was going to say something about the date....and it is approaching full moon (78%).....
Friday the 13th is considered a day of bad luck in English-, French- and Portuguese-speaking countries around the world, as well as in Austria, Germany, Estonia, Finland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Republic of Ireland, Poland, Bulgaria, Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and the Philippines.
Similar superstitions exist in some other traditions. In Greece, Romania and Spanish-speaking countries, for example, it is Tuesday the 13th that is considered unlucky. In Italy, it is Friday the 17th.
The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia,[1], a word derived from the concatenation of the Greek words Paraskevà(Παρασκευή) (meaning Friday), and dekatreÃÂs (δεκατρείς) (meaning thirteen), attached to phobÃÂa (φοβία) (meaning fear). The term is a specialized form of triskaidekaphobia, a simple phobia (fear) of the number thirteen appearing in any case.

I love Friday the 13th and everything superstitious.
Part of the reason is that I was born on the 13th.
Today, as a matter of fact.
Unfortunately ... a good part of my day was spent crying on the phone with my bank.
I do not chalk it up to Friday the 13th since the problem I had was from last week and I only just found out about it today.
I still have faith that the rest of the day will bring good luck.
It better.

I think I read somewheres that 13 is just supposed to be an unlucky number because that is roughly the number of moons and/or menstrual cycles are in a year's time.
I'm fine with both of those things, plus 13 is a prime number, so 13 gets a thumbs up from me.

Although, my dad was also born on Friday the 13th. He's kind of a blowhard :lol:

I only pay attention to it for fun. I like being facetiously superstitious.
I also check my horoscope all the time.
I also pick up heads up pennies; but I also pick up heads DOWN pennies and they bring just as much luck. I chalk it up to me finding money makes me have a good day. :lol:
BUT I also believe that a nickel is 5x the goodness as a penny, dime 10x, and quarter 25x. so obviously, quarters are the BEST to find. :wink:
