Come and get your house fix.
What's up one and all. I will be filling Carlile Club with the house vibe this Friday night and exploring all aspects of house over the last 20 years. You can count on hearing at least a little music from all major styles of house since the mid-eighties. Acid, Chicago-tech, NY Garage, West Coast, Chicago-deep, French house, Minimal-dub, Latin, maybe even a little Disco house.
**Excluding those progressive-hybrid styles popularized in the mid-to-late nineties that aren't really house music**
If you need to scratch that house itch, stop in and enjoy the music.

I actually own some booty house, but come on....that stuff just can't be played outside of the "rave" scene....it's a bit of a novelty style.
Not that I don't like it sometimes, I've seen DJ Funk play at least 6-7 times.
But, NO, no booty house this weekend.

Was more of a joke because you didn't mention it heh.
With that said I would love to hear it played in a nice club and not a dirty ass warehouse one time in my life. DJ Funk was big when I was into my rave days (mid-late 90s) and I prob saw him about the same amount as you. Was always entertaining. I would say someone should do a whole booty house night but you'd hear the same 15 tracks over and over :p

Yeah, I was raving during the same time period, plus I was in Chicago for much of the late 90's; so, I saw Funk quite often.
That is the other hard thing about the style, not a whole lot of good records to play before everything starts sounding the same...but a high-quality 30 minutes of it sandwiched into a larger set could be cool.
