Does anybody know of any lounges that have dj's spinnin good house or electro? My wife and I were going to hit up Bristol tonight, but they rented it out to a band. I can't think of any other places. All the places down around the Mynt/Neil Ave area seem to have turned into Top 40ish.

It's almost like I have to dust of my tables...get the strobes and disco balls and party in da basement like I did 10yrs ago.

Any info would be great!

Deep+Chill pretty much any variant of house.

I remember back in the day - Lemon Lyman and another guy would spin @ Arlington Cafe...good times.
That and we enojoyed the patio @ Spice a couple years back.
Just a very very good vibe.
Just good music and good peeps! period.
Now that I'm older and married. I enjoy listening to good house music, chillin and watching my wifey dance and watching the dj's spin.
Then Electro - Well....that's when I get a few drinks in me and I start fist pumpin! LOL!

You might want to start following this site, some good info on electronic music in Columbus is always going up on there:

Some of it may be your thing, some might not, but it's a good starting point.

Also, LOVE roeVy, always a good time at their shows.

every other friday at circus is "juicy"
gallery hop saturdays there are "dig"
(rovey spins last at every "dig" btw)
every other weds is "my best friend"s party"

There is also FRESH AIR every Tuesday night on Callahan's patio.(arena district)
Sundays at Bento also host some house DJ's different weeks.(campus)
