Need a little volunteer time this weekend? Tomorrow morning is the annual Franklinton Clean-Up day. A bunch of us will be meeting at the Franklinton Development Association (FDA) office at 924 West Broad to help out. We're meeting at 11 am and will clean up a vacant lot next door for an hour or so and then we'll head over to McDowell and clean up some vacant lots down there. Then we'll hit the picnic for the volunteers at Dodge at 1pm.
Weather may be crappy, or it might be nice. Who knows? If it's nice then we can enjoy it together. If it's crappy, then you probably weren't going to be doing anything anyway. Right? We'll be there rain or shine.
Our office is on the cornner of Broad and Jones Ave. We're right next to Tommy's Diner and across the street from the Florentine. If you come after noon, you can meet us down at Sherman's place (188 McDowell just south of Town).
