This adorable unneutered male black cat was found last night (Saturday March 5) around 11:30pm one block away from Bodega on East 3rd. I think he is about one year old. A neighbor told me that she may have seen him wandering around E. 1st and Mt Pleasant for about a week now. Please contact me if you have any information.

You may want to search the Pet FBI site, but be leery of posting. Unscrupulous people will lie to obtain an animal, and then sell them or use them to condition pit bulls for fighting.
Good luck!

You can take him to a local vet and have him checked for a mirochip, if you haven't done that already.

Thanks for the tips. I did try to post to pet fbi, but their site wasn't accepting the info. So I guess that's for the best. I'll try the vet today.

A lady by the name of Mary Jane operates a one person call center for lost felines. She jots down your information and then compares it to her records. Through her, I've reunited two cats with their owners in the Northland area. She's a selfless volunteer.

The Pet FBI site is tricky to post on. I've had information kicked back a few times, but eventually was able to post. If you do post your lost kitty on their site and find a potential owner, do your best to insure this is the real owner by requesting photos, vet records, etc. This tends to weed out the unscrupulous others.
