After the Columbus Crew’s first victory of ’09 against Kansas City, the team is taking on a larger foeâ€â€cancer.
On June 27th, 7:30 p.m., the Crew faces the New York Red Bulls. The last time these teams met was the 2008 MLS Championship game with the Crew victorious
For the Crew v. Red Bulls rematch, the Crew is offering tickets that fight cancer, plus some added benefits.
Here’s the deal:
• The Crew has given the American Cancer Society hundreds of reduced-price tickets in the South Stands of Crew Stadium.
• Tickets are usually $22. The Crew is offering them for $20. For every ticket, the Crew donates $7 to the Society.*
• Holders of these special tickets get pre-game access to the players tunnel, and post-game access to the field to take a shot on goal.
• Also, the Crew has made available free tickets for local pediatric cancer patients and survivors. (Send information on pediatric patients/survivors to Robert Paschen [below].)
Please reserve your tickets now at http://www.thecrew.com/acs.
*Note: Step 4 of the online order form--"Relay Location"--allows ticket buyers to select which local community their $7 will support.
More than one-third of your ticket price fights cancer!
